PS2- KH2 boss faq pt.1

-----Prep.: make sure you fight all the nobodies just before this fight. you should go up a level or 2 doing this, and it will help a lot. Also, pick up the potions they drop and have them customized to a short-cut-----
ok, eventhough its your first boss, its a bit hard, and it will EASILY wipe the floor with you. To start with, you'll be held in mid-air. not much you can do but follow the reaction commands, but precise timing isnt needed. Once youve knocked him to the ground with the last reaction command, repeatedly slash his head to get a head start on the damage dealing. surprisingly, he wont leave himself open for long, so this part really helps. He has several attacks, but very few which cause major problems. If you do lose health and go critical, be thankful youve got those potions! For the most part, he'll spend his time 'shifting' around the arena while firing.....something....at you (probably an energy shot of some kind). just use reversal to get around these and to move in to attack his head, but like i said, he wont leave himself open for long. Another problem is the attack where he 'sweeps' the floor with his arm. This isnt too much a problem, but it can deal big damage if youre not carefull. Just jump to avoid this. It'll get to a point where he puts his head in the ground and sticks his limbs in each corner of the arena. he'll fire continuous energy shots at you and summon lesser nobodies to attack. back away into the opposite corner where the energy blasts cant reach, and deal with the lesser nobodies. DONT be tempted to attack here! His head has energy shots spinning around it and they WILL hurt if you touch them! he'll eventually stand up again and resume his normal attack pattern. Later, he will go all out, and jump in the air and spin like a UFO, and LET RIP with LOADS of energy shots! Just keep mashing the triangle button to avoid it all, and if you do actually manage to get an attack in here, youre very good! He'll then resume his normal attack pattern again and will be dead before long. Afterwards, you'll be sent back to the town.

-----prep.: Not much really, just make sure you have any potions you have on a shortcut. otherwise, this is just a test.-----
There's not much to worry about here really. Just watch out if he crouches on the floor, and get ready to jump out of the way, because this will be the most annoying attack. He'll crouch for a few seconds, then quickly glide (wtf) towards you and unleash a spinning chakram attack which is like a fire spin. He'll use this often. Feel free to attack while he's crouched, but he'll still do the fire spin anyway. Another attack he may use later on in the battle is a shortened version of his ultimate attck from the next battle. He'll envelop his chakram in flames and use a short range throwing flurry, but this can be easily avoided by running to a safe distance. Not much else, just HACK HACK HACK!

-----prep.: unfortunatly, there is a battle right before the fight, so try not to lose too much health before hand, but this fight is quite difficult (harder than the boss). Unless youre planning to mess around with him, you wont really need any potions.-----
Technically, he is a lot harder then last time, with a large arsenal of attacks up his sleeve...but you are wielding 2 keyblades in this battle (referred to as playing as 'DW Roxas'). The new combos from this duel-wield make Axel a wimpy fighter, and you easily wipe whole chunks of health away. When you see the reaction command 'overtaking light', use it! This extinguishes the flames on the floor (which, surprisingly, take away your health slowly and set your feet on fire) and stuns him to let you get another attack in. After a full ground combo, you will knock him into the air, so perform a mid-air combo to further the damage. He will almost certainly try and telepot around the arena and will launch one of 2 attacks at you: a fire wave where he smashes the ground, creating a small shockwave; and a fire dash, where he flies out of the flames creating a firey trail behind him. But, his most lethal attack is (you guessed it) the full version of his ultimate attck from the last battle. He will do the same move (harder to dodge this time) but he will hit the ground at the end, and send a series of fire pillars at you. With DW roxas though, he should be dead very quickly.
